I’m going to present a few choices to you for a snack/treat and you tell me what you think is the wisest choice, tastiest choice and the most satisfying choice. We’re not going just on health or what just taste the best. We’re going to combine all these factors.
BOWL #1: 111 CALORIES WORTH OF WALNUTS
This is what a 111 calories worth of Walnut looks like. It’s definitely a small handful.
BOWL #2: 1/3 CUP OF WALNUTS
This is 1/3 cup of walnuts which is a little over 200 calories. Still I can go through these nuts really fast.
BOWL #3: BANANA NUT SMOOTHIE
Banana Nut Smoothie with walnut oil topped with toasted walnuts.
This has 208 calories.
You can also have it without the toasted walnuts and it will only be 111 calories.
BOWL #4: 1 CUP OF WALNUTS
A Cup of Walnuts is 654 calories.
which one do you think would be the best choice?
Of course I would choose my Banana Nut Smoothie. Obviously that’s where I was going with this.
This is the type of thing I utilize every day in my daily life since I’ve been maintaining my weight loss since May 2012. I have all kinds of flavor of smoothies that are filling and enjoyable. This has been a huge part of my maintenance so that I can have something really tasty that isn’t going to cause me any problems with maintenance on a daily basis.
